Hospital Disaster Plans
Click on the links below to receive current Disaster Plans for both SUNY Downstate Medical Center and Kings County Medical Center. These “All Hazard Plans” are organized by hospital, department and subject matter. They provide instructions and policies and procedures to “actively” manage a disaster.
Many of the Plans have been tested in a drill format by New York Institute of all Hazard Preparedness (NYIHP) and the Division of Disaster Preparedness. It is our mission to establish them as your first “go to” tool in managing a disaster that effects our institutions. We strive for full compliance, support and cooperation, as we collectively become disaster prepared.
