Resident Life

group photo of smiling residents

In our program, residents train at multiple hospital sites, all located in Brooklyn, New York. If counted on its own, Brooklyn would be the 4th largest city in America. Most residents live either in Brooklyn or Manhattan and travel by car and/or subway, though some live throughout the Five Boroughs, New Jersey, and Long Island.

Over the years, Brooklyn has become one of the most exciting cities to live in. It has a wonderful culture, diverse population, and some of the best restaurants, museums, and sporting events in New York City. Some places to explore and things to do in NYC include:

  • Picnic in Central Park
  • Visit the museums on Museum Mile
  • Study at the Central branch of Brooklyn Public Library
  • Visit the Bronx Zoo
  • Smorgasburg
  • Prospect Park (excellent bike loop for locals!)
  • Hike Inwood Park
  • Bike across the George Washington and Brooklyn Bridges
