QI Projects
Residents are currently involved in variety of Quality Improvement Projects that can have profound impact on the quality of care here at our hospitals.
Such projects are ongoing and require significant amount of time and effort to accomplish. Interns have built-in rotations (PRIME, AMBU) that allow sufficient time to think about QI projects that they are interested in and to be able to initiate, continue, and finish them in a timely manner. Similarly, residents in their second and thirds years have electives, UrgiCare, and AMBU rotations where they can pursue performance improvement projects.
