  • My experience at SUNY Downstate has been phenomenal, I think a major strength here is the comprehensive way in which each organ-based system is tackled during
  • the preclinical years.  Combining physiology, anatomy, radiology, and clinical vignettes (CBL’s) in the study of each system really deepened my understanding of the organs and helped bridge me into the clinical years, where I had to interpret scans and physiological signs to diagnose disease.  Having had a preclinical foundation really helped me.
