Academic Computing & Technology is an integrated unit comprised of separate groups that provide academic application and technology services including Banner, Prime learning management system, Panopto lecture capture, Qualtrics Surveying, computerized examinations and educational analytics.
Coordinates the selection, implementation, and support of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System. Provides project management support for the implementation of the ERP system.
Coordinates the selection, implementation, and support of all hospital clinical Information Systems. Provides end-user training on the various clinical Information Systems and technical support for hardware and software applications.
The Clinical Imaging Service Group provides support for the medical imaging Information Systems (IS) and the Picture Archiving Communication Systems (PACS) throughout the entire enterprise.
The role of the HealthBridge Project Repository is to store and provide access to files used to build the templates for system design.
The Information Security Group (ISG) is responsible for the security of the computer network by insuring regulatory compliancy, the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of patient medical records and other information deemed critical to the mission of SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
Provides application development support on a variety of platforms in a variety of languages. Develops and supports mainframe legacy online applications such as THOMIS, Personnel Data System and Scientific Medical Instrumentation System.
