Education and Outreach Goals

GCAISMH aims to create a unique AI and Mental Health Certificate program, leveraging expertise from Downstate and UAlbany to equip professionals with skills to address challenges at the intersection of AI, society, and mental health.

The center will engage both the scientific community and the public through annual multidisciplinary symposia and outreach events, bringing together leaders from academia, industry, and humanitarian organizations. These efforts will advance the center’s vision, shape its research agenda, and ensure relevance and responsiveness to real-world needs.
