Background and Expertise: 

Wendy Williams, Ph.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Health Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. in cultural anthropology from The Graduate School and University Center of the City University of New York, where she also earned the Certificate in Interactive Technology and Pedagogy. Her doctoral research explored the role of communication technologies in the lives of recent immigrants from China to Sunset Park, Brooklyn. She acts as a liaison to the online-only cohort of SPH students, helping them connect to the offices, resources, and information targeted for distance education learners.
