Jenny Crouch, Ed.D., MS, MA

Over the past decade, Dr. Jenny Crouch has worked in various aspects of higher education, from Financial Aid to Career Counseling and Admissions. Before joining SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, she served as the Director of Admissions and Recruitment Operations for the Medical College of Georgia (MCG) at Augusta University. While at MCG, she led the office through an overhaul of admission policies/processes, and a transition to a new SaaS technology platform. Dr. Crouch holds a Doctor of Education in Leadership and Learning in Organizations from Vanderbilt University, where her culminating publication focused on the interdependent effects of psychosocial factors on student satisfaction among BS/MD students at one medical school in the northeast. Dr. Crouch also holds a Master of Arts in Health Communication from Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Brenau University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Baruch College (CUNY). From 2016-2022 she served as the Co-Communications Chair for the southern region of the National Association of Medical Minority Educators (NAMME). Poster presentations include topics such as, "Transitioning to a Multiple Mini-Interview Process" and "Building a Virtual Multiple Mini-Interview Process” which were presented at both national and regional conferences for the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). Most recently, Dr. Crouch presented a session on Assessment and Evaluation at the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health's (ASPPH) 2023 Sections Retreat.
