
Anya Razmi
TRANSPORT Project Staff Assistant
Anya Razmi joined the Brooklyn Health Disparities Center in August 2024 and serves
as the TRANSPORT Project Staff Assistant. She graduated summa cum laude from Yale
University in May 2024, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in English alongside
completing the pre-medical curriculum. Currently, she supports the TRANSPORT team
in communications, social media, and program implementation. Anya is also the COO
of Sprxng, a health technology startup through which she developed a patented novel
menstrual disk, and a public health research intern at Yale’s Social and Gerontology
Lab. Prior to these roles, she studied HIV-1 at the Yale School of Medicine and researched
pre- and postpartum maternal mental health at Yale’s Affect Regulation and Cognition
Lab. She has additional experience in digital content creation and communications
as a profile writer for Nunchi Health, a content designer for Workiva, and a writing
tutor at the Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning. In the future, she hopes to
continue to pursue her passions for public health, science communications, and medicine.
