Physician Assistant Student Society

The Physician Assistant Student Society at SUNY Downstate is a chapter of the Student Academy of the AAPA (SAAAPA) a constituent Chapter of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Officers are elected annually.

Physician Assistant Club

The Physician Assistant club is officially recognized and acknowledged by the SUNY Downstate Medical Center University Council. The goal of the PA Club is to promote the profession through organized monthly meetings, discussions on present and future practices of PA's, fundraising, arranging "National PA Day" activities and participating in University activities as one of the programs in the School of Health Professions.
