The Arthur H. Wolintz, MD Annual Memorial Lectureship
The Arthur H. Wolintz, MD Annual Memorial Lectureship was established in 2012. Dr. Arthur Wolintz, Distinguished Professor SUNY, established ophthalmology as a separate department at the medical school in 1984 when he was named Chair. He held this position until early 1996 and trained many residents and fellows over the years. He was a fine teacher and dedicated faculty member for almost 40 years and was highly respected in his field of neuro-ophthalmology. The annual talk is presented in the fall to honor his distinguished life as a person, scientist, clinician, and teacher.
