Mission Statement: Our mission is to deliver world-class patient care, education and research with compassion, experience and professionalism. 

The Laser, Aesthetics & Body Institute (LABI) at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences Center is the first and only academic clinical center in Brooklyn that caters to the appearance-based needs of patients. We serve the Brooklyn and New York City community, greater New York, national, and international clientele. The LABI constitutes the clinical arm of the Center for Photomedicine at the Downstate Department of Dermatology, and offers state-of-the-art technology in the field of laser medicine, light therapy, and cosmetic procedures.

We know that the appearance of your skin can impact the quality of your life and we strive to better your overall skin health and wellness. We believe in looking at patients as unique individuals and listening to each concern and providing a customized, individual treatment plan for each patient.
