Health Hacks: 5 Weeks to Level Up
Are you a High School student interested in a career in healthcare? Are looking to level up your health awareness? Are you seeking mentorship and academic guidance from world-class medical school students? Well, look no further!
We are pleased to announce our health awareness series 'Health Hacks: 5 Weeks to level up'! Health Hacks is a free 5 week program tailored around education on prevalent health issues. Each week students enjoy vibrant, engaging, virtual sessions led by current medical students. This is an amazing opportunity for students interested in health careers. Parents and Educators are welcome!

Brooklyn Scholar Athletes with Academic Goals Program (BK-SWAG)
The Brooklyn Scholar Athlete with Academic Goals (BK-SWAG) Program provides underrepresented student athletes and students interested in sports to careers in healthcare that combine their interest in the health sciences with their love for sports. BK- SWAG seeks students who have a strong work ethic, leadership skills, work well in teams, and have the confidence and drive for excellence. Students enrolled in the BK-SWAG program are introduced to various health professional fields as it aligns with sports. Students meet with leaders in healthcare and gain first hand knowledge about a variety of health professions.
Students participate in workshops on health disparities, they engage with providers in sport related healthcare fields, and they receive academic support, guidance and mentorship. All students receive CPR certification free of cost. BK-SWAG is open to all students interested in careers that combine healthcare and sports.

Program Dates: June 25, 2025 – July 25th 2025.
June 25 and July 26 are midday and evening virtual sessions. July 1, 2025 – July 25, 2025 are in-person ONLY. See flyer for more details.
