Journal Spotlights Study on Pandemic Mental Health in Latinx Groups

Marlene Camacho RiveraKudos to Marlene Camacho-Rivera, ScD, MPH, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and Community Health Sciences assistant professor, and M.D./MPH student Maissa Trabilsy, for their recent publication in the Hispanic Health Care International Journal. Their article on COVID-19-related food insecurity and mental health in Latinx communities in the United States highlights the diverse impacts on Latinx subgroups.

The study was supported by Maissa's summer alumni research fellowship and Dr. Camacho-Rivera's grant from the Stony Wold-Herbert Fund.  In addition, Maissa previously presented this work at the 2023 Society of General Internal Medicine (GIM) Annual Meeting, where she was recognized as a National Young Scholar in GIM. Dr. Justin Marson Provides Insight to Doximity Digital Health Fellowship

Justin MarsonDermatology resident Justin W. Marson, M.D., is a member of the Doximity Insider 2023 Graduating Class of Digital Health Fellows. As a fellow, Dr. Marston provided insightful feedback to Doximity, a digital health solutions platform for medical professionals. Doximity is accepting applications for its 2024 fellowship class until December 8, 2023. Chosen fellows will have the opportunity to work closely with the company and establish themselves as digital thought leaders.
