Class of 2024 Celebrates Induction into Gold Humanism Society

As a board member of the Gold Foundation, I am pleased to congratulate the individuals recently inducted into the Downstate chapter of the Gold Humanism Society. This prestigious Society unites medical students, physicians, and leaders recognized for their dedication to compassionate care. Downstate’s inclusion in this network, which spans 180 chapters across medical schools and residency programs with over 45,000 members, is a source of pride.

Thank you to those who nominated individuals exemplifying our core values of humanistic and compassionate care. Special thanks also to COM Acting Dean Jason M.
