The Cardiovascular Summer Institute is a mentored research program, sponsored by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) since 2006. It provides hands-on experience in cardiovascular research, grant writing, and career development. Participants will engage in interactive workshops and receive one-on-one mentorship from experienced investigators to help strengthen their research skills and prepare for academic independence and success.

We encourage all interested junior faculty to apply early, as only eight scholars will be selected nationwide on a rolling basis. The program brochure with more details is attached.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions – we'd be happy to help!
