Giyom Charlerint serves as the Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Coordinator, supporting the administration and daily operations of the fellowship program. In this role, Giyom collaborates closely with program leadership, institutional stakeholders, faculty, fellows, and staff to ensure a high-quality educational and training experience.
Although relatively new to graduate medical education, Giyom brings extensive experience in healthcare administration, patient advocacy, and public sector organizations at both the city and state levels. Prior to joining the fellowship program, Giyom served as a Patient Representative, assisting patients and families in navigating the healthcare system and ensuring access to quality care and support services.
Giyom holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from Purdue University Global and a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from CUNY Medgar Evers College. Fluent in English, French, and Haitian Creole, Giyom is dedicated to fostering collaboration, promoting learner success, and enhancing the educational environment for trainees, faculty, and staff.
