Dr. Krishnamurthi Sundaram MD, FACS, FARS, is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology, SUNY Downstate Health Science University. His clinical expertise is in Head and Neck Oncology, Thyroid and Parathyroid tumors, Salivary gland tumors and Sinus disease. He completed his Otolaryngology residency and additional fellowship year at Downstate Medical Center in 1983.
He is a board-certified Otolaryngologist and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the American Head and Neck Society, the New York Head and Neck Society, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Thyroid Association, the North American Skull Base Society, the Triological Society, and American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery. He has lectured nationally and internationally. He has been a team member that has received research grants from the National Institutes of Health as well as other organizations. His goal is to provide compassionate care to cancer patients.
