    Background and Expertise:

    Sara Abu-Ghanem MD MMedSc is an otolaryngologist (ENT) with expertise in Laryngology: voice, airway, and swallowing disorders. She received her residency training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center and completed two years of clinical fellowship in Laryngology and Bronchoesophagology at Stanford University School of Medicine (California, USA) and New York University School of Medicine (New York, USA). Dr Abu-Ghanem is a faculty member in the Department of Surgery at Maimonides Medical Center and is also an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology at SUNY Downstate. Dr Abu-Ghanem is academically active and is continually trained in the latest medical, surgical and behavioral techniques for diagnosing and treating voice, airway, and swallowing disorders. She works closely with the Division of Speech-Language Pathology at Maimonides Health.
