Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine
Division of Infectious Diseases at NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County

    Following her medical school education and residency/fellowship training at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, Dr. Lee joined the Division of Infectious Diseases at NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County in 2022. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at SUNY Downstate. She enjoys teaching learners at all levels of medical training, including her involvement in clinical microbiology courses at the College of Medicine as well as curriculum lectures for internal medicine residents and infectious diseases fellows. Her passion has been to reduce barriers to high-quality care to patients living with HIV and promoting health literacy among her patients through good communication and team-based coordination. She precepts the Travel Medicine clinic at Kings County, which allows travelers access to much needed chemoprophylaxis and immunizations against tropical diseases. Her primary research interests include epidemiological studies of healthcare-associated infections and social determinants of outcomes in HIV and hepatitis care.
