Dr. Roslyn Sofer

Roslyn Sofer, PT, DPT, PhD, OCS

Dr. Sofer received her transitional DPT degree from Touro University. She graduated from Columbia University, with a baccalaureate degree in Physical Therapy in June, 1964. She is an expert in Manual Therapy and was recognized as a board-certified clinical specialist in Orthopaedics by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) in 1989. She received a postprofessional Master's degree in Orthopedic Physical Therapy from Touro College. She is currently working on a PhD degree at Touro University. Dr. Sofer has over 35 years of clinical experience working in neuro-rehabilitation and orthopedic settings. She is a faculty member in the Physical Therapy program at Touro College, and is an owner of a physical therapy practice. She has contributed to the professional literature as co-author of a chapter in Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy textbook published by Mosby.
