James Willis, MD

James Willis, MD is a graduate and former Chief Resident of SUNY Downstate, Emergency Medicine residency program. He has been a part of the residency leadership team since 2013 and in 2019 became Program Director. As an alumni of SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, Dr. Willis is passionate about the education and career planning of our medical students and residents. He serves as a Clinical Advisory Dean in the College of Medicine and is dedicated to a learner-centered educational environment with a focus on compassionate, evidenced based patient care.
