Dr. Paladino MD, FS, FAIM, EMT-P, FP-C is an Associate Professor, and Assistant Director of Research in the Department of Emergency Medicine at SUNY Downstate. Dr Paladino is dual board certified in both Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic. In addition, he has several specialty certifications including aerospace medicine and hyperbaric medicine.

Dr. Paladino sits on committees for regional and national paramedic and EMS protocols. He is an Advanced Trauma Life Support Instructor and has worked on emergency medicine program development and disaster preparedness in many countries. Dr Paladino has responded to numerous disasters around the world. Dr Paladino conducts investigator initiated and industry sponsored research, producing several papers and grants.
