Dr. Kwak, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor and the Simulation Director in the Department of Emergency Medicine at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. She earned her medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Downstate/Kings County. Dr. Kwak further advanced her expertise by pursuing a fellowship in Simulation Medicine at the Institute for Medical Simulation and Advanced Learning (IMSAL), where she developed a strong passion for medical education and simulation. She currently leads in-situ simulations in the SUNY Downstate Emergency Department to identify critical gaps in care, ultimately enhancing patient outcomes.
