Dr. Pamela Janairo graduated from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and completed her EM residency at SUNY Downstate/Kings County Hospital Center where she served as chief resident during her final year. After graduating residency, she completed a simulation fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center. She is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor and Associate Program Director at SUNY Downstate/Kings County Hospital Center. She received the Simulation Fellow Presentation Award at SAEM for her research on ethical beliefs during an active shooter simulation. Her interests include simulation, social emergency medicine, health disparities, medical education, and quality improvement.
