Daniel Imas, MD, is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Director of Physician Scheduling at SUNY Downstate. He earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland and went on to complete his residency training at NYU Langone and Bellevue Hospital, where he implemented a program for expedited partner therapies for treatment of sexually transmitted infections and conducted research on diabetes risk is rural settings.
Following graduation, he joined the faculty at SUNY Downstate where he now serves as the Director of Physician Scheduling for the Emergency Department, a faculty mentor in the medical school's LGBTQIA health pathway, and a core faculty member in the residency program, serving as core faculty and a member of the Clinical Competency Committee.
