Dr. Hanuscin is an Assistant Professor and Ultrasound Division Director in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University Hospital at Downstate. He earned his medical degree from UCLA School of Medicine/Charles R Drew Medical School, then completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at Kings County/SUNY Downstate. Following graduation, he completed his Ultrasound Fellowship at Kings County/SUNY Downstate. He now is core faculty for the Kings County/UHD Emergency Medicine residency at the Division Director for the Ultrasound Director. He is also the co-director for the Ultrasound Curriculum for the Downstate School of Medicine. He continues to mentor medical schools interested in Emergency Medicine and Residents interested in clinical ultrasound.
