Dr. Gleyzer is a Clinical Associate Professor at the Department of Emergency Medicine at SUNY Downstate Health Science University. Dr. Gleyzer earned his medical degree at SUNY Downstate and went on to complete a medical internship at Staten Island University Hospital that followed by the residency in the Emergency Medicine at Albert Einstein Jacobi/Montefiore program.
Dr. Gleyzer is board certified in the Emergency Medicine and holds a certificate in Travel Health with International Society of Travel Medicine (ISTM). In addition to being a clinical faculty at Kings County Hospital, he is a course director of 3rd year medical students EM core elective at SUNY Downstate.
Dr. Gleyzer is a member of Utilization Management group at Kings County Hospital. His clinical and research interests include POCUS Ultrasound, Travel related illnesses and utilization management. Dr. Gleyzer is a fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Physicians
