Dr. Buckridge, MD is an Assistant Professor and Assistant Program Director in the Department of Emergency Medicine at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences Center. Dr. Buckridge earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, and went on to complete her residency training in Emergency Medicine at SUNY Downstate/Kings County, where she served as Chief Resident and developed a passion for both medical education and residency administration. Dr. Buckridge was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha in her final year of residency.

Following graduation she joined the Emergency Medicine faculty, where she now serves as a core faculty member and Assistant Program Director for the residency program with a focus on education. In addition to serving as a residency core faculty member, she is an Early Career Advisor for the medical school, and a member the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. Her administrative work includes didactic conference curriculum design and DEI.
