He is the Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs of the SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. He functions under the direction of the Senior Vice President and Dean of The College of Medicine at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University to further the clinical mission of the borough’s only academic medical center for health education, research, and patient care.
As part of the senior executive team of the College of Medicine, he helps set the course for the future of the clinical enterprise. Utilizing skills in strategic planning, system implementation, clinical operations, and grants oversight, the Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs facilitates strategic partnerships with other institutions, particularly those relating to fourth year clinical clerkships.
