The Downstate School of Public Health made a significant impact at the annual New York City Epidemiology Forum, held at NYU Langone Health and co-hosted by NYU Grossman School of Medicine and NYU School of Global Public Health.

Several Downstate School of Public Health students presented their work, including Janille Williams, Roudjessie Charles, Aliyah Howard-Rodriguez, Kirabo Nanyanzi, Steven Medvedovsky, Moyouri Bhattacharjee, Tobi Somorin, Jessica Smilowitz, Danylo Orlov, Dhruti Patel, and Shabitri B. Dasgupta.

The New York City Epidemiology Forum, which caters to junior researchers such as students, postdocs, fellows, and junior faculty in the New York City metropolitan area, fosters regular interaction and collaboration among epidemiologists from academic and other institutions. The forum features oral presentations, posters, and discussion sessions, providing a platform for attendees to showcase their work and forge collaborative projects to advance their careers.
