Dr. Stanislav Bushik is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery.
Dr. Bushik graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA with a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. During medical school, Dr. Bushik was awarded the Dean’s Summer Research Program Scholarship to study anticoagulation in patients with atrial fibrillation undergoing hemodialysis. Dr. Bushik completed his general surgery residency at SUNY Downstate, where he was induced into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and awarded the Theo Lewis Advancement Award and Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Teaching.
Following his residency training, Dr. Bushik completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at Richmond University Medical Center on Staten Island, NY.
Dr. Bushik is a board-certified general surgeon and fellowship trained minimally invasive surgeon who treats the full spectrum of general surgical disease. He has advanced training in minimally invasive methods including robotics and laparoscopy.
