Dr. Ludmila Ferruzzi, DrPH, LMSW, PMP, is the Director of the Master of Health Administration
(MHA) Program at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. She earned her Doctorate
in Public Health from the SUNY Downstate School of Public Health and her Master of
Social Work from Stony Brook University. Dr. Ferruzzi has extensive experience in
both clinical and administrative healthcare settings, including frontline hospital
practice as a medical social worker and leadership roles in healthcare operations,
care coordination, and project management. She previously served as a Senior Project
Manager at a large healthcare organization, where she led corporate care coordination
initiatives and operational improvement projects. Her academic and professional interests
include healthcare quality improvement, care coordination, and environmental sustainability
in healthcare systems.
