Azim Uddin

Azim Uddin serves as Financial Coordinator for the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. He oversees the department's financial portfolio, including research grants, state funding, hospital support, and practice revenue, ensuring responsible budgeting, accurate financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining the department, Azim worked as a Financial Operations Associate, where he led initiatives to improve billing efficiency, optimize revenue performance, and enhance financial reporting processes. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from CUNY Brooklyn College's Murray Koppelman School of Business and brings expertise in healthcare finance, financial analysis, and data management. His technical skills include Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Power BI, Excel, Tableau, and Google Sheets. Azim is fluent in Bengali.
