Dr. Ofer Azoulay is a distinguished Otolaryngologist specializing in head and neck oncology, microvascular reconstruction, and robotic surgery. He serves as Chief of Head and Neck Surgery and Microvascular Reconstruction at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, where he leads a comprehensive program focused on advanced surgical techniques and innovative patient care.

Dr. Azoulay's expertise includes the management of complex benign and malignant tumors of the head and neck, functional and aesthetic microvascular reconstruction, minimally invasive robotic surgery, and facial nerve reanimation. He has a particular interest in the integration of cutting-edge technologies, Including nerve stimulation implants. 

A graduate of medical school and residency in Israel, Dr. Azoulay further honed his skills with a fellowship in Head and Neck Microvascular Reconstruction at NYU Langone Health. He has been practicing in the United States for over seven years, during which he has established himself as a leader in the field.

Dr. Azoulay is actively involved in research, with a focus on facial nerve reanimation Head and neck oncology and reconstructive surgery. He has been an invited speaker at national and international meetings, sharing his expertise on head and neck reconstruction and robotic surgery. His work has also contributed to the advancement of interdisciplinary care for patients with head and neck cancer.

Dr. Azoulay is a member of professional organizations such as the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and the American Head and Neck Society. In addition to his clinical and research achievements, he is committed to education, serving as a mentor and instructor for residents and fellows in otolaryngology.

His passion for improving access to care extends beyond his clinical practice. He is in the process of founding a non-profit organization dedicated to providing head and neck cancer care to underserved populations worldwide.
