Dr. Shrier is Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at SUNY-Downstate School of Medicine. He is Director of the Retina Service at Downstate Medical Center, and is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He completed a fellowship in Vitreous & Retina at the University of Louisville, and residency at NYU and Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. Dr. Shrier specializes in treatment of diabetic eye disease, age-related macular degeneration and medical and surgical treatment of retinal pathology.
