Background and Expertise

Dr. Edelstein has background in optics and laser physics having earned a doctorate in this field at Polytechnic University of NYU, followed by 4 years of research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a senior attending at Brooklyn's Veterans Administration Hospital, providing comprehensive ophthalmology care to the veterans. He provides in-depth teaching to the residents in the fields of clinical optics and related concepts of refractive optics.

Research Interests

Dr. Edelstein's research interests range from electrophysiology to paraneoplastic syndromes.
