Monique Brewster, MSN, CNM

Monique Brewster is a Certified Nurse Midwife who has been in Healthcare for the past ten years. She is currently part of the team of OBGYNs/ Midwives in Suite G and labor and delivery at University Hospital of Brooklyn. Monique has earned her Bachelors in Nursing at New York City College of Technology and later earned her Masters in Nursing and Advanced Practice Degree in Midwifery.

Prior to practicing Midwifery, Monique worked as a Registered Nurse in the ICU, but her passion has always been Woman's Health/ Labor & birth but more generally caring for women throughout their reproductive years. She is passionate about women having their own rights, autonomy, and control over their own body. She believes that everyone, regardless of age, race, personal beliefs, and financial background, should be treated the same and be afforded the same care. She hopes to continue to serve the very community she once grew up in, provide the care that will make patient want to return, and also convey the knowledge & power to patient's that midwives long before her has been imparting to the world.
