Dr. lshola Adeyemo, MD, FACOG, CPPS is a clinical assistant professor in the College of Medicine at Downstate State Health Science University, Brooklyn. He is board certified in General Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a full-time faculty in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University Hospital at Downstate. Dr. Adeyemo provides the full spectrum of Obstetrics and Gynecology with over 16 years' experience. He also has additional interest in Minimal invasive gynecological surgery.
In addition, he is also a certified professional in patient safety(CPPS) by the Certifying Board in Patient Safety and assistant medical clerkship director. He is also the associate director and vice chair, division of QA, Pl and patient safety.
Dr Adeyemo is very passionate about patient safety especially as it relates to racial equity and justice. He has been working tirelessly for the past 16 years in ensuring that Brooklyn's less privileged, under-insured and un-insured patients get access to the best possible care, with compassion, dignity and respect.
