Dr. Herman is a board-certified psychiatrist with the Department of Family Medicine. He is also a graduate of Downstate. In his role as Director of Behavioral Health for the Department of Family Medicine, he provides supervision and mentoring for the Family Medicine residents. Additionally, he provides supervision and consultation for the Collaborative Care program within the department for patients with basic mood and anxiety disorders.
