Dr. Arancibia is a clinical assistant professor at Downstate Health Sciences University. Dr Arancibia graduated from Downstate’s Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship in 2017. In addition, she completed her interventional pulmonology fellowship training at the University of Arkansas in 2018. She has been recruited as an interventional pulmonologist with special procedural and diagnostic skills in the diagnosis and management of various lungs diseases, particularly lung nodules and cancer. This expertise fits well with the lung cancer screening program that covers the full range of care, from early diagnosis to advanced surgical and/or medical intervention as well as the pleural disease service, including benign and malignant pleural effusions. Her main focus will be providing high quality interventional pulmonary care, which is greatly needed at Downstate.
