Dr. Vastardi is a graduate of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. She completed her pediatrics residency at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and then continued on to a two-year Allergy and Immunology fellowship at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University.
After completion of her fellowship, Dr. Vastardi remained at SUNY Downstate where she joined the Allergy & Immunology Division. She holds an Academic title as an Assistant Professor and is the Associate Program Director of the Allergy & Immunology Fellowship Program. She is involved in the care of pediatric and adult patients with allergy related conditions such as allergic rhinitis, allergic asthma, food allergies, medications allergies, urticaria, angioedema and conditions related with primary immune defects.
She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and American Board of Allergy and Immunology. She is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.
