Ivana Krstovska, PhD, BCBA-D, is a psychologist, behavior analyst, and special education teacher with more than 25 years of clinical experience working with children with autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions. She serves as the Program Director and faculty member for the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (Brooklyn LEND) training program. Dr. Krstovska is also an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at Lehman College, City University of New York, where she teaches courses in psychology and behavior analysis. In her clinical work, Dr. Krstovska provides psychological evaluations and consults with educational and clinical organizations. She develops and delivers trainings and workshops for parents, caregivers, educators, and clinicians to address learning and behavioral challenges among children with neurodevelopmental conditions in New York City and internationally. Dr. Krstovska is deeply committed to supporting families of children with neurodevelopmental conditions and helping them navigate complex systems of care.

Harris S. Huberman, MD, MPH

Dr. Huberman is a developmental pediatrician, Clinical Associate Professor, and Director of the Department of Pediatrics’ Division of Child Development at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn, as well as the Clinical Director of the Brooklyn LEND (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities) program. Besides training residents and medical students in child development and behavior, evaluating and treating children with development, learning and behavioral problems (including Autism Spectrum Disorders) and doing early childhood and autism-related research, Dr. Huberman’s interests include autism spectrum, its underlying neurobiology, and treatment approaches, as well as health disparities and ways to ensure that developmental evaluation and treatment modalities and resources are equally available to all socioeconomic groups and communities – hence his interest in public health and its intersection with child development; preventive parenting programs to improve parent-child interaction and developmental outcomes for children living in poverty; and international health.

Allen Lewis, PhD, CRC, is Dean and Professor of the School of Health Professions at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, a role he has held since 2016. He has more than 40 years of experience as a clinician, administrator, and educator. His early career included five years of clinical practice in behavioral health and 10 years in leadership positions in public behavioral health, substance abuse services, and cancer epidemiology, and for the past 27 years, he has served as an academic at five universities, was a division director in a survey and evaluation research laboratory and a department chair twice. He is a nationally certified rehabilitation counselor and former editor of the Journal of Applied Rehabilitation Counseling. His research focuses on disability disparities and outcomes of disability services. He has numerous publications and professional presentations, and has held key leadership roles on federally funded research grants totaling more than $18 million as a PI, co-PI, co-investigator, and evaluator.
