iNSPIRe to Represent Department of Surgery at Association for Veterans Affairs Surgeons Meeting

The Department of Surgery and the iNSPIRe Initiative are proud to announce abstract acceptances for the upcoming Association of VA Surgeons (AVAS) Annual Meeting in Miami Beach, FL on April 8-10.

Residents Jodi-Ann Edwards, MD,  Tomas Daviu-Molinari, MD, and medical student Steven Medvedovsky, under the guidance of Department of Surgery Chairman Panos Kougias, MD, MSc and Sherene Sharath, PhD, MPH will present their work highlighting significant sources of health access disparities in surgery, to a national audience of academic surgical faculty and trainees.

The AVAS Annual Meeting provides an exceptional platform for young surgeons and researchers to advance surgical scientific knowledge, identify impactful collaborations, and seek meaningful feedback.
