How do you select candidates for residency interviews?

We take a personalized approach toward each candidate and review their application in full before deciding on sending an invite for our interviews.

Are there any minimum score requirements in the selection process?

We do not have a minimum score cut-off as we have a holistic approach toward a candidate’s application.

Do you accept International/ Foreign medical graduates?

Our program accepts International/ foreign medical graduates (IMG/FMGs). We are proud of the diversity in our program which allows for a collegial and friendly environment.

What are the requirements for a complete application?

Complete ERAS application
MSPE or Dean’s letter
At least 3 letters of recommendation
Medical School transcript
USMLE Transcript (step 3 is not needed)

What is the residency interview timeline at the program?

Interview invitations are sent out starting in October of the season in a phased manner to select applicants allowing them to choose their date of interview from among several options given. We conduct interviews until February every season.

Will I be given information prior to the interview?

Yes. Our program coordinator will contact you prior to the day of your interview with an agenda for your interview day.

Are the interviews in person or virtual?

As per ACGME recommendations, our program conducts interviews virtually. We do not entertain requests for a second look or in-person interviews currently.

Do you sponsor VISAs?

Yes. Our program sponsors the J1 VISA for Foreign medical graduates in liaison with the Education Commission of Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG)
