Jacquelyn L. Meyers, PhD
Dr. Meyers' expertise is in the molecular and statistical genetics of psychiatric and substance use disorders, as she has received this training from one of the premiere research institutes in behavioral and psychiatric genetics in the United States. In addition to her doctoral training in human and molecular genetics, she has a degree, and extensive research experience, in psychology from Florida State University, and post-doctoral training in the social epidemiology of psychiatric and substance use disorders from Columbia University. She takes this rigorous interdisciplinary training in psychology, genetics, and epidemiology to her research program that examines the interaction between genetic, neurobiological and social influences on substance use and related psychiatric disorders.
