SUNY Downstate today announced that University Hospital at Downstate (UHD) has been named an American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (ACS NSQIP) Meritorious Hospital for the 2023 calendar year. UHD is one of 77 top hospitals to achieve national recognition for its surgical patient care in a number of categories as measured by data collected in 2023.
