You have been recommended for appointment to the SUNY-Downstate Medical Center Affiliated Hospitals Residency Programs as a house staff physician, effective July 1st.
Our affiliated hospitals will provide you with an opportunity to be engaged in a training program that represents a cross-section of affiliates with a varied patient case mix and outstanding medical and teaching facilities. While you are being appointed into the SUNY-Downstate Medical Center Affiliated Hospitals Residency Programs, you will benefit from experiencing clinical services of our affiliated hospitals, although your salary sources will depend upon which hospital you are assigned to at the start of your training.
See New Innovations checklists for instructions on your appointment procedures include information on a mandatory credential review during which you will be required to present original documents. Without completion of these papers and health clearance, you will neither be processed for payroll nor may you be scheduled to work.
