Dr. Sunny received his PharmD from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, and then completed his Infectious Diseases Residencies at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. After residency he became an Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacist at Kings County Hospital Center. Currently he is CDTM pharmacist in the outpatient Infectious Diseases Clinic. Responsibilities include managing patients on long acting injectables for HIV treatment and prevention, PrEP, and those with chronic hepatitis B or hepatitis C. He is a co-preceptor the ID Fellows in their HIV continuity clinic. He also works in the travel clinic and is involved in a number of research projects along with our attendings and fellows.
