Our specialists are nationally renowned experts, committed to integrated programs that ensure patients benefit from the latest advances in cancer care. Our Centers of Excellence provide multidisciplinary care centered on the individual needs of each patient. Our experienced Oncology Nurses together with Patient Navigator and Case Managers help coordinate treatment and ensure that the patient and his and her family are always fully informed and involved in all decisions. Our patients have a full range of programs and services designated to provide care for the whole person – clinically, emotionally, socially and psychologically. Our clinical outcomes are amongst the best in the nation. We have the doctors that other doctors trust. Year after year our physicians are recognized as Top Physicians in the United States. That means they were not only nominated and voted for by their peers, but they also went through a tough vetting process and panel review. And these physicians are part of a select group – only 2.5 percent of doctors are included on the list of Top Doctors for each state. Our physicians are work that gets noticed by other physicians as well as by patients. Our doctors and nurses are teachers at the SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, College of Nursing and College of Public Health and have the expertise necessary to serve our patients and to train the next generations of doctors. More physicians practicing in New York were trained at SUNY Downstate than any other medical school.
